Hi, I'm Roberta Vigilance. Owner and Principal of Vigilance Style & Grace, established 1999. I work directly with clients, so I’m selective about the clients I take on.
I’ve spent nearly three decades in the sponsorship space, starting as an event planning business and leveraged my experience in b2b and b2c sales to sell my events to local businesses.
During that time, I approached corporate brands. After being kicked out of offices for asking them to invest in my events, someone asked if I was looking for sponsorship or sponsors. I said yes, and the rest is history.
I’ve brought in sponsorship revenue, from corporate to local sponsors, for my own events and for my clients, helping events and initiatives grow and retain long-term funding.
I review sponsorship proposals and create next-step strategies to strengthen them or move them toward sponsor-ready status, ensuring sponsorships are done the right way. I’ve trained both emerging organizers and executives, teaching practical, universal methods to secure sponsors and increase revenue.
I’m also the author of 'How to Secure Sponsors Successfully' and several step-by-step guides on planning sponsored events, sharing proven strategies and providing clarity that leads to results.
I work with clients internationally to help them generate sponsorship, strengthen proposals, and develop strategies that deliver results for both the event and potential sponsors.
